I know it looks similar to the previous recipe, but this one is way chewier and overall tastes differently. It’s like a homemade version of Bombus or Nakd bars (way cheapier tho).  My fav. Dates, peanut butter, cocoa, oats… idk, could it be any better?


200g smooth peanut butter (Myprotein)

150g date paste (Provita)

120g agave syrup (Myprotein)

100g oatflakes

80g protein powder (I used Complete Vegan Blend – Chocolate Peanut flavour from BulkPowders)

20g raw cocoa powder (Myprotein)


Mix all the ingredients. Now is the time to use your anger. Hit the mixture really hard (with your hands). Batter the dough until it sticks together. When the consistency is nice and sticky, shape it into flapjacks or make any other shapes that you like. Afterwards, I’d recommend leaving the flapjacks in a fridge for a few hours so that they keep their shape. Store them in a dry, cool place.

When you’re finished, you can either leave the flapjacks the way they are or you can top/coat them with melted chocolate, desiccated coconut, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, crushed lotus biscuits, salt, chilli powder, mint… I’ll leave this to your imagination. Or use my pictures as inspiration.
