I’ve got another recipe for you! My beloved banana bread. I’ve been baking and playing with Dewii‘s recipe for quite a while and finally, I’ve discovered the yummiest and healthiest combo. It’s not that different from the original recipe (which I absolutely love too!), but it’s sugar and gluten-free (there’s barely any gluten in oats so unless you’re celiac it’s safe to eat). What else should I say, it’s easy to make and delicious. Great as a snack, breakfast and food-to-go. Now let the pictures speak for the bread.



1 cup = 250ml

1 cup corn flour (spelt flour works too)

1 cup oats

2 cups bananas (4 medium-sized bananas)

1 lemon

1/3 cup milk

2 sp coconut oil (softened)

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt


Peel the bananas and the lemon. Mix all the ingredients to form a dough (use a blender). Put it on a tray and bake for about 50 minutes on 175°C.


I love to sprinkle the bread with various types of nuts (before baking) and then spread it with cashew butter and top it with fruits.
